INFORMATION REQUEST

Pursuant to Law No. 4982 on the Right to Information published in the Official Gazette dated October 24, 2003 and numbered 25269, and the Regulation on the Principles and Procedures Regarding the Implementation of the Right to Information Law published in the Official Gazette dated April 27, 2004 and numbered 25445; information requests related to the duties of our Institution by real and legal persons are received through the link below and directed to the relevant departments. Applications are evaluated within the legal period and finalized within a maximum of 15 business days.

Our Institution conducts information access processes in an effective, transparent, and lawful manner, and information requests may only be restricted within the exceptions specified in Law No. 4982. The disclosure of information such as state secrets, personal data, and trade secrets is limited by law.

Who Can Benefit from the Right to Information?

According to Article 4 of Law No. 4982 and Article 5 of the relevant Regulation, all real and legal persons have the right to access information.

Foreign natural persons residing in Turkey and foreign legal entities operating in Turkey can also benefit from this right, provided that the requested information is related to their field of activity and subject to the principle of reciprocity. Applications must be submitted in Turkish.

How Can Information Requests Be Made?

Information requests can be made electronically. Our Institution has created an application form to receive information requests more quickly and effectively. You can submit your request by filling out the form below.

Required Information for an Information Request

For Natural Persons:
  • Name and surname
  • Residence or business address
  • Signature (not required for electronic applications)
  • Turkish ID number (required for applications by e-mail or fax)
  • Form attached to the Regulation (Annex-1)
For Legal Entities:
  • Title of the legal entity
  • Address
  • Authorized person’s signature (not required for electronic applications)
  • Authorized person’s Turkish ID number (required for applications by e-mail or fax)
  • Authorization document
  • Form attached to the Regulation (Annex-2)
Note: Petitions or forms that do not contain the relevant information are not processed. (Regulation Article 14)
