Our institution has been awarded the ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety (RTS) Management System Certification.
Following the first certification audit of the ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management System, carried out by Kiwa Certification Services Inc. between November 13–17, 2023, at our Ankara Headquarters, CMT, and PT2 locations, the external audit was successfully completed without any nonconformities reported. By receiving the ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management System Certificate, our institution has become a pioneering organization among public institutions and one of the few distinguished institutions in Turkey.
Our organization has successfully completed the ISO 39001 Certification process, an international standard prepared by the relevant Technical Committee of ISO to help organizations understand and manage road traffic safety risks.
Recognizing this as a critical step toward developing and sustaining road traffic safety standards, rules, and practices that are accepted at both national and international levels, we wish for the ISO 39001 RTS Management System Certificate to bring positive outcomes for our institution.
Our General Manager, Mr. Y. Selçuk ARIK, expressed his pride and happiness in completing the ISO 39001 RTS Management System Certification process, stating:
“We are extremely proud and delighted to have successfully completed the ISO 39001 RTS Management System Certification process.”
Mr. ARIK further noted, “This certificate provides organizations with an international framework for understanding and managing road traffic safety risks. By achieving this certification, our institution will continue to enhance and improve road traffic safety standards, rules, and practices accepted at both national and international levels.”
Mr. ARIK also emphasized the pride of being the first public institution to complete the certification process in-house, without relying on consulting services, and extended his gratitude to all unit managers and employees, especially those in the Transportation and Logistics Department, for their contributions throughout this process.
With the ISO 39001 Road Traffic Safety Management System Certificate, our institution aims to continue its leadership in road traffic safety and increase awareness in this field across Turkey.
